Offering quality coffee, produced ethically, shouldn't be a matter of choice. At MushUp, we make it a point of honor to respect all the actors in our production chain: eco-responsibility, fairness, and well-being are key values that have guided us in developing a unique coffee.
They also allow us to make a difference in an industry with a sometimes harmful culture. Historically, the coffee world and coffee farming have been plagued by numerous scandals involving worker exploitation: poverty wages, the use of child labor, and inhumane working conditions. Currently, 80% of coffee is purchased by large multinational corporations that often leave very little profit for the farmers.
These abuses lead to school dropouts, a lack of social protection, and long-term precariousness for workers and their families. This vision of the coffee industry, often overlooked or ignored, prioritizes profitability over respect for human rights.
At MushUp, we strive to make our coffee eco-friendly and responsible! This commitment, combined with our love for roasted beans, has guided us in creating a high-quality product that respects those who work with it. And of course, it comes with a dose of adaptogenic mushrooms! ;)

From production to tasting, MushUp cares about everyone and we make it a point of honor to incorporate our values into our procedures.
We work with local micro-producers and master roasters who, thanks to their expertise, elevate our hand-picked, fair trade certified, and organic coffee beans, just like our mushrooms. We use 100% natural extracts in our coffees.
It's important for us to make these superfoods, adaptogenic mushrooms, accessible to everyone. MushUp's goal is to integrate the benefits of mushrooms into our routine: coffee. Our products include Cordyceps, Chaga, Reishi, Coriolus Versicolor, and Lion's Mane. All ingredients are respected and valued at every stage of product creation. The mushroom producers we work with are located in Quebec. Prioritizing short supply chains has the dual advantage of supporting local employment while limiting the carbon footprint associated with transportation.
Marketing eco-friendly coffee also involves considering the packaging for these small roasted beans. At MushUp, we offer zero-waste containers.
Indeed, these are 99% compostable (with the exception of the recyclable metal tab) and have a unique design for each variety of coffee.
For regular customers, there's no need to read the name of the cafe anymore; its distinctive visual identity is there to tell you.

Store in cans/iron boxes
Looking for a container to store the rapadura sugar that goes with your coffee? Why not use one of our canes ? In addition to our compostable packaging, you can also find our attractive, multi-purpose metal tins. Their elegance and compact size will add a touch of style to your décor while perfectly preserving your products.

Making coffee eco-responsibly means taking a multitude of small steps at every level: from the producer to the seller, not forgetting the consumer. This demands our utmost rigor and commitment. Why not yours? Together, we can create a more virtuous coffee!
